There are a lot of commercial cleaning companies to hire, but even how promising their commitments are, you would never know how good they are until you personally hire their service. 

To lessen the chances of regretting and spending your hard earned money to nothing, it is best if you do your homework well and find the best commercial cleaning company there is. How to do it? Start with asking relevant questions. 

Filter your list to 4 to 5 companies, list down all questions you know can help you decide which of them is the best company to hire, call them one by one, jot down their answers, and once done, sit and compare their answers. 

Asking questions is still the most effective way of finding a good company to hire. But if this is what you are planning to do, make sure that you ask only relevant questions to avoid wasting the time of the commercial cleaning company and your time as well. 

Here are a few questions you can start with:

• How long do you need to finish cleaning my property?

Timeframe is very important to ask and it is not to rush their service but to set your expectations. Of course, it is not a matter of whose company can do the job faster, but who can do the job faster with a good quality of Commercial Cleaning Services. 

This is very important especially if the property you are hiring them to clean is operational 24 hours, like hotels, call centers, and hospitals. Sure, even if your business is operating round the clock, it is not an excuse for not cleaning it well.  

• How much is your rate?

When asking for rates, make sure to be very specific on the service you are hiring them for. Provide the exact size of the space they will clean, including the appliances, machines, furniture etc., and other special cleaning instructions they need to perform.

You would never take a risk with the cheapest service unless you are sure that the quality of their cleaning is the same or even better than the more expensive ones. 

Also, since you already know their rates, you can start negotiating for a better package.   

• Can you provide me with reference? 

Asking for references is also a good idea. Ask if they can give you a list of references you can call to ask for feedback about their service. But of course, do not expect that they will be very open with giving you a list of companies you can call, because of confidentiality. 

But once they provided you with a list, better call them. When calling any on your reference list, make sure that you immediately provide the reason of your call. You would not want to waste their time especially that it is not their obligation to entertain your call. 

• What if I am not satisfied with your service?

You may also want to know how they handle unsatisfactory service. Even if you are dealing with the best commercial cleaning company, there is still a chance that you may not get the cleaning you expect, hence best to get an assurance on what you will get in case it happens. 

• Can you clean my property after office or business hours? 

Can you clean my property after office or business hours or you only provide service during regular business hours? As much as possible, hiring a company that can work during off peak hours or best after your office or business hours is a good idea, to prevent cleaning from hindering your business operation.
